A true Hawaiian vacation: room for 1 in HPD cell block

Never a dull moment at the workplace yet again...

Had this couple from Japan, boy+girl friend having food and drinks at the bar. Seemed fine and pretty normal at first, then God knows what happened, heard a thunderous crash of dishes falling to the floor and chair with girlfriend on the ground. Boyfriend yelling at her. Nearby tables were startled, and apparently some had seen the whole thing unfold. At first thought maybe the 2 nihonjins were drunk, but came to realise it was a VERY PUBLIC DISPLAY OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. Shit.

Server and me had to intervene, security and HPD was called. Boyfriend tried to act as though nothing had happened and tried to settle bill. Quick response from secuirty and HPD saw him bailing out and running away.(Guess he chickened out when the men in blue showed up) Short chase after, was pulled out of the bushes and handcuffed. Eyewitness accounts had that he slammed the girlfriend's head onto the table and pushed the chair she was sitting on the ground. Son of a bitch. I have absolutely no respect and zero tolerance for wife beaters.

Anyway, he's off to the slammer. When ask by HPD if girlfriend wanted to press charges, the very first question that came out of her mouth was: " Is he going to be okay?"

WHAT???? Are you kidding me???

Let me add on to what I said about wife beaters, that I hate the stupid wifes of wife beaters that have no bloody sense to speak up and take action after what has happened to her. Yet another stupid Nihon-chick. Seems like such a waste of time to sincerely try to help her out...

Enlighten me but are there laws in Japan pertaining to domestic violence? From what I heard, there's none. So Poopie, do me a favor...do the research, be a lawyer and fight for all the stupid chicks in your country.

My next post is about loud, obnoxious Aussies getting drunk and running around naked(and I mean naked) on the beach as if they own the freakin world. Stay tuned
