Tagged: The age that wish to go back to

Yet again, I've been extremely lazy in putting my thoughts into words(aka blogging). Plus, I had a lot more free time during those days of tertiary education...ahhh...those good old days.

Thanks to Sharon, I've got no excuse this time round not to put in a post. I've been urged to write on the age I wish I could go back to ...hmmm...

Honestly...my memories of yore has somewhat diminshed(or is in the process of disappearing). I'm just not the sentimental sort I guess...I'm more concern about future events...say...doomsday....where I'll be walking around Orchard Road with a sandwich board with the words" Repent! The end is near!"

*Thinks hard for a moment* ok....maybe the age I really wanna go back to is between 3-6 years old... Thoughts and life were a lot simpler, a little boy who just enjoyed new uncomplex experiences. The days of growing up in the grandfolks Teng Tong Road home, playing marbles, getting chased by a stary dog(fuck), catching guppies in some drain somewhere, buying 555 cigarettes for grandpa and his mahjong kakis, playing ' police and thieves' with the neighbourhood kids, waiting anxiously for the Magnolia ice cream ah-pek to come on his ice cream bicycle(The 3 wheeler ones?), smelling the satay grilling on a back of a bicycle, going to Katong church on a trishaw with grandma at 530 am(wah lau eh), stealing mangoes, stealing bicycles, Christmas with the WHOLE family(I got presents then), ......That's as much as I can recall...it's sad but true.

I emphasize once again...I'm a visionary. I'm looking forward to 45. Because at 45, I wanna be financially debt free, and that would be the next milestone in my life when I update my blog when I'm 60 years old.
