Picked my 'teacher' up from school. So teacher-ish, the prim and proper persona....kekeke( surely kenah pinch for posting this)

Pokes and me went down to Botak Jones at Ang Mo Kio Ave 5, Blk 608. Had a mean Chicken Gumbo and Fish and Chips. The Gumbo was indeed authentically done with the cajun spices and and the chorizo sausage, and tasted really southernly. The fish and chips weren't too bad either with its immense portions, lightly breaded Dory fillets, which came with a heap of seasoned fries, and slaw. Not too bad for 8 bucks a pop for the whole meal.

Ok...I've been lazy in whipping out my camera and taking pics of food or anything in general. All the more reason to get a camera phone eh?

You're 30- A reminder from the government

If you ever forget or refuse to believe you're finally 30, no fret, the Singapore gahmen will not fail to remind you. Sadly, it's not a birthday card but a COMPULSORY order for the birthday person to renew their ID. And to add salt to the injury, it's not free either.

Question: Shouldn't I, a citizen of this great nation with a vomitting sea creature as its icon, be entitled to a free renewal? After all, we do pay our ministers well....too well.

Howz my Weekend?

Friday- Good Friday. Another hot hot day at the futsal court at Balestier. Checked out W.O. with Pokes'. Nice little cosy spot in the middle of nowhere. Not very assessible by foot( we tried) Go for the Lambrini Pear Cider. Yum. Great friendly service too. Must check out Wild Rocket nearby next time.

Saturday-BBQ at S. Noni place. Fun with Pictionary after. Must pay attention to my unintended bluntness when I'm on a competitive 'high'. Sorry pokey. Strawberry Milkshake at EC McD's after, how gay...thx S. Hanging out with the marrieds.

Sunday- Early morning. Roman ball with kids. All 50-60+ of them ( i lost count) Some lovable, others scary. Max voice 'porjection' needed, lungs nearly came out. Stoned after, along with some watercress drink at Macau cafe. John Little and some book sale going on. Jalan jalan...caught 23 with Jim Carrey at Shaw Tower. Cinema Seats smelled funky. Traces of which stayed on hands and fingers. Avoid the toilets. Yucch. Din-din at Outback. Unhealthful does of Fried Shrooms, Cheese fries and 8oz Sirloin cooked Medium Rare. Feel heart attack coming soon.

Relocation Perks

New Office down in Kramat Lane, Orchard Road. Having Brekkies while surfing free wifi. Definitely cool. At least now, a after work beer is not that far away. Plus, my lunching options just expanded 10-fold.

Immediate: must get rid of the musky ordour in office. Yucks.

Pending: Still considering the N95 for a birthday gift to me. Pokey says to wait....hmmm...

Friday-Enjoyed my condo facilities after work and lounged on the couch after...bliss

Saturday-Soccer with the guys in the morning. Ankle still little screwy....took it easy with the Christiano Ronaldo moves, equipped with the finest ankle and knee guards money could buy. wimpy. Met Pokey, went down to McRitchie, intention was to scale the Treetops Walk but weather proved otherwise. Pokey well equipped with brolly. Wimpy part II. (kekekeke). Adjourned to Balestier for Bak Kut Teh. Orgasmic. Sharing food with someone special is always special. Hopped over to a condo showflat viewing, the Pavillion II @ Novena....just to use the loo. (kekeke). Went down to ECP later on for a relaxing San Miguel and some live music. Sat on the breakwater for some time, till a mickey mouse stuck its head out and interrupted the moment. Squeak.

Sunday- Lorong Mambong. Got all my Accupoints painfully massaged or should I say tortured. Dinner at Bukit Merah, meal consisting of Stingray with Sambal, Hearty beef stewed in gravy, Ha Cheong Kai....yum
